Sudbury, Massachusetts, USA – March 12, 2024 – Julienne’s Afternoon Tea Experience is an inspiring new LGBT+ women-owned restaurant. It is a long time dream of Julienne’s, who was born with half of a heart and has overcome many medical hardships. Five open heart surgeries later she is now ready to pay it forward and a portion of all proceeds from the restaurant will be donated to the Make A Wish Foundation. To bring this dream to life, Julienne and her mother have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and they are welcoming community support and backing.
“My daughter Julienne was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and had her first open heart surgery at four days old and her fifth at the age of eighteen,” said Brooke Leone, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. “Located in Boston MetroWest, this will be a new and exciting tea room experience to create cherished moments with family and friends, offering much more than just a meal,” she added.
Backers from around the world can become a part of this project by making pledges and donations. The goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to raise $40,000 for equipment and inventory and the restaurant owners are offering several great rewards for the backers. Julienne’s Afternoon Tea Experience is an exciting new tea house offering not only Afternoon Tea, but Princess Tea Parties, Bridal and Baby Showers, Venue Rentals, and many classes and events such as Reading Tea Leaves, Making Succulents in a Tea Cup, Proper Etiquette and more.
